The Spirit of the Position:
The Door Person greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients at our hotel locations.


Principal Job Duties:
Warmly welcome guests to the property and assist guests with luggage assistance and escort them to our front desk.
During the check in process, personalize each arrival process with guest name recognition and a detailed room orientation.
Act as a Loren lobby ambassador while you are here. Open doors and assist guests/visitors entering and leaving the property.
Inform guests of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
Transport guest luggage to and from valet, guest rooms, and/or designated bell area.
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
Assist guests/visitors in and out of vehicles, including assisting guests with loading/unloading luggage.
Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.
Follow all company policies and procedures, and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Ensure appropriate work attire is worn daily in accordance with hotel policy.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Electric Bikes
Ownership of hotel branded electric Bikes, cleanliness, and upkeep.
Ensure all bikes are fully charged when on the front drive.
Ensure all bikes are wiped down and locked when not in use.
Report any damages to the manager on duty.
Know how to operate and explain all aspects of the bikes and remind our guests of the safety standards.
Bell Carts
Regular upkeep and maintenance of our bell carts, including daily wipe downs, polishing and tire maintenance.


Education:
High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:
Strong customer service experience.
Hotel industry experience is preferred but not required.
Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
Must be open to feedback, differing opinions and other points of view.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
Demonstrate the ability to seek.
Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:
Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
