Job Description

Collaborate with Technology leadership to develop the strategy (strategic roadmap), mission, vision, and plan for the enterprise architecture function and digital technology platforms; Demonstrate strong technical and business leadership capabilities, including the development and articulation of a clear vision, mission, and strategic plan; Lead an enterprise technical architecture governance board, formulating governance processes, policies, new standards, procedures, guidelines for technical designs enforcing compatibility and interoperability standards and procedures and oversee enterprise technology operations for web based and other technology areas including cyber compliance, data privacy & protection; Track and evaluate new standards, technologies, and trends in application architecture, development, design, and delivery, ensuring a cost-effective supportability and consistent architectural framework across enterprise applications; Identify, recommend, prioritize new & emerging technological capabilities (applications) by conducting cost-benefit evaluations for both webbased and non-web-based strategic, business impactful initiatives with financial viability; Design the overall technological architecture, communicate and coordinate architecture and strategy with business transformation teams, and throughout the enterprise; Constantly look for a better way of solving technical problem, designing the solution by ensuring consistency (mobile, multimedia, intranets, and extranets) and uniform technology strategy; Ensure effective consultation with various business partners (internally & externally) in exploring and applying innovative “outside-in” solution ideas challenging the status quo to address business opportunities and challenges.; Conduct research into current and emerging technology trends, e-commerce platforms, business to-business and business-to-consumer application platforms, reengineering existing business processes and systems infrastructure to support business expansion and simplify complexities; Develop, lead and evaluate organizational talent by providing guidance and mentorship to the technical development teams executing projects and ongoing support, alongside mentoring database administrators involved in design, development of relational databases for web, e commerce solutions and other related platforms; Manage, lead & mentor the technical managers, project and program managers, systems infrastructure engineers, integration architects and software development team(s) working globally on technology tools, policies and procedures; Create a comprehensive architectural blueprint of Digital Centers of Excellence (CoE) and Digital Factories. This encompasses e-Commerce, Digital Marketing, Integration, AI, and automation; Lead and setup a foundation for Agile project management office and agile framework across the enterprise using Scrum; develop policies and procedures for various project execution teams to ensure compliance and teams success; Evaluate/Review others’ work, performance reviews, engaging in peer reviews, contributing to award committees, and participating in talent recruitment panels; Stay abreast with a latest AI trends and technologies to direct, formulate, and execute an extensive AI business strategy, which includes leading and mentoring a team of AI specialists engaged in diverse AI projects ;Prepare financial budgets planning & financial controls, conduct request for proposals (RFPs) Initiation, project charter review, statement of work (SOW) review, supplier contract negotiations and vendor management; Periodic travel may be required to various unanticipated worksites in the US; individual must live within normal commuting distance of co headquarters in Deerfield, IL.
