Job Description
Produce creative designs with high consumer value to meet size, cost, time to market, and quality targets; Lead hardware design for new products, working in a close interdisciplinary team; Define electrical engineering architecture and execute EE product development through the entire life cycle; Develop hardware test plans and automation scripts for engineering and manufacturing tests; Oversee component selection, schematic capture, layout oversight, bring-up and debugging; Define test criteria, draft test plans for internal and/or remote teams; Help define product features at concept stages; Evaluate alternative component sources for cost optimization. May work from home up to 3 days per week or more if required; 20% travel required; can live anywhere in the US. Company headquarters in Deerfield, IL.
