Job Description
Our historically family owned manufacturing client who now benefits from being acquired by the 2nd largest privately held company in the country, is looking for a full time Marketing Communications Specialist!
The role is hybrid, 2 days a week onsite in the western suburbs. Metra accessible!
The Marketing Communication Specialist will join the Content Team to assist in managing content for 4 business units.
The Marketing Communication Specialist will be responsible for:
- Interviewing product managers to get key product information including technical information, markets and key applications
- Creating unique content to live in the central product information PPT to be used for application briefs, blogs, web copy, distributor info, data sheet, FAQs
- Collaborating with teammates for edits and revisioning
Deliverables include: product release ppts, blogs, short form copy, social posts, training scripts
The ideal Marketing Communications Specialist will have:
- Solid writing background, ideally within B2B
- Comfortable with project management and editing
- Ability to interface with technical SMEs to gather information
- Bonus: Technical writing background, Wrike experience
