Job Description
Position Overview:
This role will be a critical role in supporting customer demand planning, inventory management, and overseeing fulfillment of orders. The goal of this position is to ensure customer satisfaction, providing transparent feedback and updates to internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory, orders, and shipments. This role will help to facilitate growth for the Itasca plant and the overall Amcor Specialty Containers division.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for all 10N location shipping activity
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all outbound shipments.
Oversite and management of customer portals for shipment communication
Owns direct communication with customers and carriers regarding delivery schedules, providing updates as needed to appropriate stakeholders.
Production and material planning supporting on bottle and decoration planning as well as stocking materials used in these applications.
Management of new product launches including material set up and coordination of trials.
Management of communication on customer agreed safety stock levels.
Coordination of third-party services in relation to customer orders including placing POs, following up on schedules and providing forecasts
Management of inventory and customer specific multi-trip packaging
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) as documented in the policy.
Follow all established safety rules and guidelines as outlined in the Employee Handbook, and as stated in the various safety-related training programs. Understand and communicate all hazards and safety issues to the appropriate personnel. Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
May perform other related assignments at the direction of supervision.
Handle outbound loads while monitoring FIFO system.
Ensure that the necessary paperwork is completed. Ensure accuracy in paperwork and file appropriately.

Qualifications:
Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent; Combined experience may be considered.
5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to analyze data and drive decisions.
Experience utilizing SAP, or similar systems.
Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
Travel <5%
