Job Description
DRW ASSOCIATES, LLC IN CHICAGO IL SEEKS FPGA ENGINEER (POSITION ID FE/IL/D002) TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES: Architect and implement new applications on FPGA ICs for financial trading. Synthesize, place & route, analyze static timing and document. Facilitate software integration efforts onto hardware by developing new APIs and optimizing low level code. Propose creative solutions to overcome FPGA/hardware/software limitations. Liaise directly with software and other design teams. 100% telecommute ok.
Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electrical Engineering or related field and 1 year of financial platforms hardware engineering experience. Experience to include: (1) FPGA development with Verilog; (2) Design of system-on-chip (SOC) architectures, memory & processor subsystems, networking, and peripheral interconnect; (3) TCP/IP stack and on chip networking applications; (4) Test development with Python; (5) Jenkins for automating data collection and design validation; (6) FPGA simulation using Mentor Graphic tools; and, (7) Exchange Protocols & Microstructure.
