Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician/Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clinical facility by performing various laboratory procedures and assisting in patient care. Responsibilities:
- Conduct blood sampling and venipuncture procedures with precision and care.
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately
-Perform drug and alcohol tests according to DOT procedures.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in conducting waived tests and analyzing results.
- Handle patient samples with strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent patient service and support during procedures.
- Utilize your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to interpret test results effectively.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Follow established laboratory procedures and protocols to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a laboratory or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in blood sampling, venipuncture, and other laboratory procedures.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including hospitals or clinics.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
-Phlebotomy experience required
- Experience with DOT drug/alcohol testing is a plus.
- Certification or degree in Medical Technology or related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,360.00 - $45,760.00 per year
