Full Time/Part Time: Full time, exempt

What you will need:
If RN, current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Master's degrees in business, healthcare or science-related field (preferred)
Minimum five years of previous business/oncology/ambulatory experience (preferred)
Project management, quality analysis, financial management (preferred)

General Summary:
The Director of Oncology Services will be responsible for all aspects of Outpatient Oncology Operations including clinical, business and research activities. Oversees all activities regarding the delivery of care. Responsible for business and program development of cancer services with a focus on revenue growth, increasing patient volumes and market share, development and implementation of new programs and services. Participates in the development of a strategic plan for oncology services that is aligned with the strategic initiatives of the organization. Implements key strategic initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership, physicians, program director and staff. Oversees cancer center operations, services and physician practice to ensure quality, customer-focused and cost-effective patient care. Responsible for financial management, including the development and management of operating and capital budgets and billing practices to ensure accurate charge capture to enhance revenue. Participates in process improvement initiatives of Oncology Services and the organization. Leading cancer services operations, management of staff, employed and contracted physicians, scheduling, registration, billing, medical records, research, cancer registry, and social work. Ensuring data collection and compliance to policy/procedures and outside regulatory agencies. Works collaboratively with inpatient oncology leadership and integral departments such as pharmacy, radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation services, home health and hospice to ensure continuity of care and service excellence. Supervises Program Leadership team. Models DRIVEN values and service excellence in all aspects of the role.
