We are seeking a highly skilled and extensive experienced Senior Research Lab Technician specializing in mouse microsurgery to join our research team. This position will be responsible for performing intricate surgical procedures on laboratory mice to support our research project in immunology of transplantation field. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mouse handling, anesthesia administration, and surgical techniques, such as lung transplant, spleen transplant.
The training for these procedures can be provided but prior experience with these techniques is highly desirable.
The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. and also, could conduct moderately complex experiments under the supervision of a junior scientist. Our lab is a collaborative group with investigators from Thoracic Surgery, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, Rheumatology, and Immunology.
