In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to satisfy the following:

- Communicate and coordinate work efforts closely with other colleagues in different laboratory areas and shifts.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Certify negative confirmatory results, review initial screening data, review all QA/QC data for confirmation assays and apply rules for acceptability, review initial confirmation data, train new data reviewers and new negative certifying scientists in reviewing chromatographic and spectrometric data.
Schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Requirements:- BA/BS in a Natural Science or Medical Technology
- Three years of professional experience in a high complexity forensic/clinical lab setting
- Two years of instrumentation experience (GCMS, LCMS and GCFID) and experience reviewing chromatographic and mass spectrometric data preferred
- 1 year of negative result certification.
Special Position Requirements
- Position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- This position will occasionally require overtime and/or weekend coverage.
- Lab positions generally involve handling of biohazardous materials and dangerous chemicals.
- Need to be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
