The Market Development Executive (MDE) is responsible for selling Insight's ScienceLogic as a Service solutions. The MDE will partner closely with Services Leadership to build a client growth strategy for new and existing clients.

What you'll do at Insight
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in specialty areas of the Service Line
Build relationships with key decision-makers
Define and execute technical account growth strategy in partnership with Services delivery
Identify new opportunities for monitoring solutions and services, including RFP identification
Develop customized RFP responses, proposals, and presentations along with Services Delivery
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive landscape
Manage the sales process from initial contact through contract negotiation and close
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction
Develop executive client trusted relationships relative to technical area of expertise
Provide regular updates to management on sales progress and pipeline development

What you'll need to join Insight
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in sales of monitoring software solutions
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of monitoring solutions and services
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Travel will be required
