Job Description

Multiple position openings - Provide support for victims of domestic violence or sexual assault; Coordinate/conduct individual case management and counseling sessions with victims affected by domestic violence and/or their parent using various counseling techniques to create a safe environment; Provide crisis intervention to ensure that immediate medical, legal, transportation, and childcare needs are met. Guide victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with immediate needs by providing counseling, if needed, and referring them to our programs or other outside services to help them cope with their situations; Coordinate housing and legal advocacy management for victims, making referrals as necessary; Recruit and select housing program participants, ensure the delivery of program policies, assist in securing affordable housing and arrange other self-sufficiency programs for clients; Develop short- and long-term goals of the housing program, tracking progress and developing the program sustainability; Conduct assessment eligibility for public benefits and assist with submissions; Work as liaison between clients and landlords, and develop community resources around housing/economic sustainability; Participate in case management work when required as well as other types of advocacy; Manage program report materials and submissions for grant continuation; Participate in weekly case management staff meetings; Participate in quality assurance projects (weekly meetings with case managers and management team); maintain service database on both the agency’s and statewide data collection systems; Assist staff with the 24-hour multilingual crisis line if needed.
