Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring programs and projects to ensure compliance with change standards
Coach Project Managers on current and new change standards related to Project Management Office
Oversee program financials to ensure within target
Manage the setup and governance of programs and projects
Provide Oversight/Management/Leadership of throughout IT project lifecycle from planning to project closure
Ensure data quality within project management systems
Coordinate meeting material for program governance meetings
Documentation of release highlights for senior leadership
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in program or project management

Knowledge of program/project management within financial services
Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization
Outstanding knowledge of change management principles
Excellent ability to document technical terms in easy-to-read business language
Desired skills:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in business administration or technology field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent follow-through
Experience in coaching project managers
Pay Range: $57.70 - $65.70
