JOB SUMMARY:
As a General Labor for Carl Buddig & Company, you will be responsible for preparing/packaging fresh and frozen meat products for shipment with a safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a safety culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- General Labor:
Pack fresh and frozen meat products.
Required to work in cold temperatures 40
Must be able to stand for 8-9 hours per day.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work overtime and weekends, if/when necessary.
Ability to effectively follow work instructions.
Assist in changeovers as needed.
Ensure conformance to specifications.
Able to read and understand written instructions.
Ability to perform frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Successfully complete a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
