Title: Project Manager Location: Round Lake, IL Duration: 12 months Description: Your role at Client• Drive projects related to New Product Development including tech transfers, sustaining product changes, capital investment projects, and site capacity expansion initiatives.
• Be a key contact with teams outside of the facility.
Your team
• Influence internal (such as Facilities, Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering and others) and external partners (such as Engineering, R&D, Commercial, and other corporate support functions). What you'll be doing
• Responsible for core team performance, project schedule implementation and execution, budget commitments and spending.
• implementing plans meeting site stakeholder requirements and a track record of delivering projects to meet business objectives
• Collaborate with all functions/levels of management to ensure effective ongoing communications across teams and partners for project updates.
• Identify and communicate project risks, develop a risk plan, and proactively strategize the risk response.
• Anticipate potential conflict situations and build proactive solutions to result in positive outcomes.
What you'll bring
• Bachelor's Degree required, MBA/MS preferred.
• 10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years of experience leading teams.
• Expert project verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Proven experience leading capital and drug development projects in the medical products industry.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory or Clinical Practices, and Product Development Process requirements.
• PMI or IPMA or equivalent certification desired.
• Must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs.
