Position: Technical Support Engineer [240706TS]

Job Site: 412 S Wells Street, 9th Floor, Chicago, IL 60607

Rate of Pay: $130,000 to $135,000 per year

Job Duties: Analyze and resolve issues and follow up on technical cases, including proper escalation and management of cases until closure. Coordinate with the development organization to identify bugs and recommend product improvements. Prioritize required work to ensure customers get timely solutions. Reproduce customer environments on lab equipment. Develop core competency in products line and technologies. Leverage platforms to conduct threat hunts and detect and analyze security threats to help inform customers. Comprehend and explain complex issues including vulnerabilities and threat actor actions to customers. Mentor newer and early career support engineers Participate in weekend support rotation schedule.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Cyber Forensics and Security, Information Security, Information Technology, Telecommunication, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related capacity(ies).

Special Requirements: Demonstrate knowledge and/or experience in each of the following:

1. Experience as a security analyst;
2. L2/L3 Switches, Firewalls, AP’s;
3. Data networking protocols, routing and switching;
4. SNMP;
5. Web and application servers;
6. Relational Databases and ability to write complex queries;
7. Windows, UNIX, or Linux; and
8. Scripting experience with Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash or Ruby.
