Sr. Complex Claims Analyst, EPL & Management Liability: Proactively investigate, evaluate and negotiate resolution of assigned primary and excess claims, with a focus on EPL claims and secondarily Management Liability claims, in accordance with established best practices and assure claims are handled within granted autonomy limits. Develop and maintain relationships with customers and brokers as well as internal business partners.Investigation and Reserving of Claims
Investigate claims that involve complex liability issues on primary and excess EPL and Management Liability claims; Evaluate and address coverage issues and determine appropriate reserving levels; and Select and direct independent external service providers (e.g. Lawyers, Independent Adjusters, Experts).Settlement
Negotiate and resolve complex EPL and Management Liability claims ensuring cost effective, service orientated solutions; and Ensure claims are settled in accordance with settlement guidelines.Referrals and Compliance
Ensure all claims handled within authority limits, and in line with LOB’s Claims complex procedures and guidelines; Refer cases outside of authority level, preparing referral documentation and materials as appropriate; and Support establishment of claims management procedures on new business accounts in association with clients, brokers and loss adjusters.Skills/Qualifications:
+ 5 years’ experience minimum handling complex EPL claims
+ Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, from multiple sources, in detail; identify and resolve issues before they transpire
+ Negotiation and Conflict Management: Ability to negotiate best positions for AGCS and client, often in contentious situations, managing conflicting priorities of various parties
+ IT Skills: Use general office application tools, e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
