We offer a two-to three-month interim Divisional/Plant Controller opportunity to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all plant-level financial management and reporting responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual economic performance. You’ll need to travel onsite as needed and be willing to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee all plant-level financial management and reporting responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and actual economic performance.

- Lead and execute timely and accurate close processes, including accruals and prepaids.

- Drive definition and implementation of standards and best practices for financial analysis, reporting, planning, and improvements.

- Participate in developing strategic plans, forecasts, and performance goals.

- Review financial statements with management personnel to ensure all information is accurate and congruent.

- Work closely with plant management and senior leadership to understand revenue and cost drivers.

- Generate accurate and timely reports with solid justification and action plan suggestions.

- Responsible for managing and controlling costs to achieve agreed budget targets.

- Use Microsoft Excel and Sage Software to close the books and produce financial reports.

- Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet account reconciliation.

Requirements – Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Divisional/Plant Controller role or similar

- Proficient in CapEx, Budget Processes, and Financial Close Process

- Experience with Monthly Financial Close is required

- Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Excel is a must

- Familiarity with Sage Software is preferable

- Proficiency in Accruals and Prepaids is expected

- Experience in Account Reconciliation is necessary

- Knowledge in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation is required

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred

- Professional certification such as CMA or CPA is a plus

- Must have a strong ethical standpoint and integrity

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
