Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Network Engineer/Administrator to join our fast-paced technology team. This position will play a critical role in developing, maintaining and roll-out of network infrastructure. The successful candidate will ensure the consistent and reliable operation of the company’s networking systems, which include LANs, WANs, network segments, intranets, data communication, and telecommunications systems.

Responsibilities:

+ Design, implement and support our networking infrastructure.

+ Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.

+ Perform data backups, disaster recovery operations and routine network start up and close down and maintain control records.

+ Maintain network hardware and software, analyze problems, and monitor networks to ensure their availability to system users.

+ Analyze and isolate network-related issues.

+ Evaluate and modify the system’s performance.

+ Ensure the most cost-effective and efficient use of servers and resources.

+ Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems on servers and workstations. Escalate incidents, as necessary.

+ Practice network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.

+ Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

+ Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE are highly desirable.

+ Strong experience with network protocols, network analytics tools, and strong TCP/IP networking skills.

+ Familiarity with access control models and network security.

+ Strong problem-solving skills and able to work under pressure.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
