We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team and assist in catching up on various projects. This role involves working on the creation of a new product featuring Servo motors and safety proc sensors. The successful candidate will engage in PLC code activities including modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing for Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs. Key responsibilities include performing hands-on controls troubleshooting of PLCs and equipment, collaborating across departments to ensure projects are timely and within budget, assisting in building complex automated systems, monitoring system effectiveness, and providing troubleshooting support on new machine builds, as well as repairing machinery on-site.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rock Island, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment is fairly clean and quiet, located in a shared building with Hawk Technology in an industrial park. The Controls Engineer will have their own workspace for completing drawings and designs. While onsite travel is infrequent, it is expected as part of the role.
