Job Title: Process Technician
Job Description
As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for setting molds, starting up and shutting down injection molding machines, and understanding basic functions as specified by work orders or setup parameter sheets. Your role will include completing basic troubleshooting, writing maintenance work orders for part quality and general machine issues, and documenting process parameters. During night shifts, your focus will be on maintaining machines and performing preventative maintenance, while day shifts will involve active mold changes, troubleshooting, and work orders.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in MUNDELEIN, Illinois.
Work Environment
The role involves working across three different production rooms, two of which are climate-controlled. The work environment can vary from having slow periods to extremely busy days. You will be responsible for tasks outside the typical job description and will work closely with team members. The warehouse conditions vary, being hot in summers and cool in winters. Appropriate dress includes steel-toed or work boots and plain t-shirts with no graphics.
