Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance of industrial machinery. This includes maintaining punch presses (100-300 tons), rewinders, thermoforming machines, and cartoning machines. The role demands expertise in handling Allen Bradley PLCs, performing lockout/tagout procedures, and safely working with voltages up to 480V. Maintenance tasks will be carried out across four facilities, primarily focusing on preventative maintenance and machinery repair, with occasional responsibilities at other sites for varied maintenance tasks.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wheeling, Illinois.

Work Environment

This position involves working in a loud manufacturing environment. The maintenance team operates during 1st shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Although primarily based in one manufacturing facility, responsibilities extend to three other facilities for various maintenance tasks. Maintenance is a critical component of our operations, and the team comprises about 12 dedicated employees working during the first shift, with around 900 total employees across all shifts.
