Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in CNC, Fabrication, and building systems. Responsibilities include rebuilding or repairing equipment such as power transmissions, chain and belt drives, cams, and bearings. You will also handle motor control circuits, drives, and PLC systems, reassemble machines, and make necessary adjustments for efficient operation. Additional duties involve performing routine preventative maintenance on production equipment according to schedule, maintaining the company fleet of vehicles, facilitating repairs with approved external sources, performing upgrades or changes to equipment as needed, conducting daily safety inspections on forklifts and other equipment, and repairing or replacing broken or worn parts. You will also suggest and participate in ways to enhance maintenance efficiency and productivity, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

This is a permanent position, direct hire with great benefits that are nearly free!

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Work Environment

Large equipment manufacturing shop operating Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 5:00am to 11:00am. The standard working hours are from 6:00am to 2:30pm. Currently, the team is working 50-55 hours per week due to high demand, with plans to reduce these hours by expanding the team.
