Description:

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Develop, implement and maintain training materials
- Maintain the current training catalogue, files and support materials
- Document procedures for training programs
- Ensure that training records are complete and accurate
- Maintain document control
- Identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps
- Analyze training needs to identify training gaps and formulate plans to correct the deficiencies
- Provide train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
- Facilitate organizational on-boarding
- Facilitate classroom, blended and virtual training programs
- Recall Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory compliance standards
- Cross-train on Safety Coordinator responsibilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical or scientific terms in user friendly language
- Strong project management, problem resolution, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Ability to proofread, edit, & offer constructive feedback
- Excellent creative thinking and innovative troubleshooting abilities
- Self-motivated and adaptable with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads
- Demonstrated abilities as a leader with effective teamwork and motivational skills
- Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
Preferences
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a science related field preferred but not required
- Experience with learning management solutions and/or the use of databases to support training and skill progression is highly preferred but not required
- Experience in a forensic or clinical lab preferred but not required
Schedule will be Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, but hours could vary, flexibility would be required
