This is an office-based position and for the effective performance of this role, the duties and responsibilities must be carried out onsite.

Under direct supervision, the Business Unit Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative, logistical and project support to the business unit on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Provides administrative/routine operational, logistical and project support to the business unit on ongoing basis

2. Participates in the planning and administration of the business unit

3. Collects, compiles, and analyzes data and information for reports and presentations for the department.

4. Runs and creates formal reports for business unit. Updates manuals, procedures, etc.

5. Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines

6. Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts

7. Works effectively as a team member but also independently

8. Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job


The successful candidate will benefit from having:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Basic Functional / Industry Knowledge is preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft, Microsoft Office) is required
  • Prior administrative support experience is required
