This is a role for someone who craves a global challenge balanced by the desire to be accountable for delivering against the model in the largest zone in Kraft Heinz. It is both a strategic and a tactical position. The Associate Director, Facilities Infrastructure has a wide scope, leading the strategic planning, project development, and infrastructure capex execution across our 31 manufacturing facilities in North America.

This senior role is crucial to ensuring that our key projects and strategic initiatives are successfully planned and delivered and that our manufacturing operations are supported by robust, efficient, and state-of-the-art infrastructure.

This position requires a strategic leader with strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. Responsible for the long- and short-term infrastructure strategic plan, the ideal candidate will also ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.

As part of the Kraft Heinz engineering center of excellence, this position provides a structured approach and a clear direction to the various engineering teams, responsible for developing and implementing project management methodologies, standards, tools, and continuous improvement processes across the organization, establishing a common project and program governance framework to ensure a structured and consistent ways of working for all major and key infrastructure capital projects within the North America zone.
The Associate Director, Operational Risk Management (EH&S) is responsible for managing Operational Risk Management (ORM) processes that include Safety and Health, KraftHeinz Management System (KHMS), Workers Compensation, Environment, Business Continuity, Facility Security, Asset Conservation, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Pandemic Planning as warranted for a region of Kraft Heinz North America. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, applicable Kraft Heinz policies and procedures and implementation of KHMS. In addition, this position involves the identification and communication of operational risks within the organization and the development of business strategies to mitigate operational risks.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally through a high-level of collaboration with various departments and levels, constantly aligning infrastructure key initiatives with the NA zone`s current and future priorities and objectives.
Develop and implement the infrastructure and plant fabric strategy to support current and future manufacturing needs.
Lead and manage infrastructure projects from conception through completion, including upgrades, expansions, and new installations.
Oversee the design and construction of manufacturing facilities, ensuring they meet regulatory standards, Kraft Heinz specifications and operational requirements.
Lead the front-end planning phase for future projects, leading condition assessments, development of basis of design and pre-project approval documents and business cases.
Oversee the implementation of new technologies and systems to improve infrastructure capabilities.
Collaborate with other senior leaders to align infrastructure plans with overall business strategy and goals.
Define and maintain KPI's and metrics to track and monitor performance.
Communicate with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistic, Procurement, R&D, Manufacturing Leadership, Plant Managers, CI and Engineering Managers, S&OP Planning and Financial analysts to coordinate projects and initiatives.
Develop and deliver effective tracking, reporting, and communication to provide business unit and leadership meaningful key progress results and status updates.
Provide guidance to the project teams and share best practices on project management.

Expected Experience & Required Skills

Bachelors of Science degree is required; preferably in safety management, safety engineering, or related field
Experience in environmental, health, and safety in a manufacturing environment
