Job Description

Production of Poly-ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include processing chemical at the foam head, operation of process control panel. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, calculation of output square feet, sheet length, and linear feet. Other skills include the ability to read gauges, meters and tape measures.

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and maintain foam head area.
• Check temperature and fluid level of head part cleaner.
• Prepare and changing of head parts, nozzles and injectors.
• Preparing facer rolls and doing facer splices
• Use of SAPI. Enter data and reading as outlined in document.
• Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown.
• Communicate with other operators and supervisor on start-up and during production run.
• Maintain head parts and associated equipment.
• Produce product to specification with the use of operator run logs
• Changing chemical totes
• Shimming laminator
• Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.
• Assist in training of new team members.
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required
Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:
• Knowledge and Certified in Lock-out Tag-out Program, Forklift Certified
• Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products.
• Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
• Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment safely

Education and Experience:

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent, technical school preferred
* Ecperience operating forklift
* 2+ years of pervious experience working as an operator in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions:
• Activities occur inside an insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following.
o Temperatures exposed to both Ambient/outside temperatures.
o Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
o Noise of industrial machinery
• Typically 40 hour per week with overtime as required
• Days/shift vary based on facility need
• Fast paced 24/7 operation
