Your Role at Baxter:
The Corporate Consolidations Senior Financial Analyst supports the Baxter global monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes. This position drives global processes, systems and controls used in the preparation of Baxter's internal and external financial reporting including the consolidated financial statements. This role operates in a dynamic environment, which requires collaboration with finance teams located in the U.S. and international locations.
Additionally, this role offers high visibility in the finance organization and produces key financial analysis. This role will help support Baxter's digital transformation initiatives including the consolidation system upgrade.

What You'll be Doing:
Responsible for timely preparation of external and internal financial statements, schedules and analysis. External schedules support the 10-Q, 10-K, and quarterly earnings releases
Partnering with global businesses, international finance teams, shared service centers, investor relations, Tax, Treasury and global FP&A to ensure accurate/timely reporting and consolidation of monthly financial data, including required GAAP/management adjustments, and to provide accounting support
Manage/prepare monthly close processes
Perform financial statement analysis and present results to leaders of the Corporate Controller's Group
Perform quarterly analysis over working capital and cash flow movements for review by senior leadership in advance of quarterly earnings/investor calls
Coordination with internal and external auditors on internal controls compliance and external audit processes
Focus on strengthening processes / use of financial systems and improving analysis/cycle time for monthly consolidation while maintaining appropriate level of internal controls
Facilitate integrating any future acquisitions into Baxter global consolidation and financial reporting processes
Actively participate in Baxter Finance digital transformation initiatives and support team's consolidation system upgrade project
Handle critical processes and Oracle FCCS application covering approximately $400M to $500M of global profit-in-inventory

You'll Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA preferred
4+ years of related experience
Strong analytical skills/decision-making capabilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP and demonstrated abilities in financial statement analysis
Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills as well as being detail oriented
Working knowledge of consolidation (e.g. Oracle FCCS) and general ledger systems

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
