Description:

Develops marketing and communications strategies to increase enrollment in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (MIE) programs with emphasis on the Masters of Energy Engineering Program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plan, develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to increase recruitment and visibility for Masters of Energy Engineering Programs.
Plan and implement marketing strategy for MIE program to increase enrollment.
Create a brand for MIE graduate programs.
Identify and cultivate collaborative partnership opportunities with corporate stakeholders. Develop and conduct recruitment presentations at those corporations to attract potential students that are employed in a related field.
Design, prepare and write newsletters, brochures, advertisements web content and major announcements related to MIE's programs.
Identify and manage sources of communication to disseminate marketing information to potential students.
Analyze, report, and provide expert feedback to the MIE Department Head on current or potential economic and financial factors that may affect recruitment and enrollment into MIE's programs.
Track marketing strategy and branding initiatives to measure recruitment and enrollment.
Monitor and assess progress of marketing initiatives.
Oversee the administrative functions that are responsible for the marketing and communications budget and training of staff that post content to the website.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, public relations, or a closely related field.
One (1) year (12 months) of professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, brand management, or a related professional area. Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year (12 months) of work experience.
