Job Description

Staffmark is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our team in Carol Stream, IL. If you have at least 6 months of experience and expertise, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Positions Available:

1st Shift - Pay: $19.69/hr 

Hours: 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM | Monday - Friday

2nd Shift - Pay: $19.69/hr 

Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday - Friday

As a Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include operating a forklift to handle various tasks such as loading, unloading, picking, putting away, consolidating, stacking, and staging products and materials. You'll need to strictly follow specific work instructions and best practices to ensure the safe and accurate completion of daily tasks. You are supporting operational processes and procedures to meet customer requirements and regulatory standards. Additionally, you'll assist with physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain proper stock rotation. It's essential to inspect pallets and cases meticulously to verify quantities, item brands, and lot codes, and communicate any issues, concerns, or ideas for process improvements to management. Keeping your work area clean, and organized, and adhering to warehouse security and safety standards will be a priority, along with actively participating in training programs and adhering to established guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

Experience operating Stand-up forklifts is required.
Ability to meet medium physical exertion requirements, including lifting up to 50 pounds frequently.
Familiarity with RF systems in a logistics environment is beneficial.
Basic math and reading skills for job tasks and paperwork completion.
Capability to follow oral and written instructions.
