Title:Production Scheduler
Location:St. Charles, IL
Shift:1st Shift

Job Overview:Ensure that all necessary requirements for replenishment are properly planned and that the production operations at the site are planned and executed to maximize customer service levels. Owns and executesthe finite Schedule for his/her product line.

Essential Job Functions:
Develop Finite Schedule for product line/plant.
Creates return purchase requisition
Maintain MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) inputs.
Maintain planning parameters in the material master in cooperation with the Supply Chain team.
Evaluate MRP results, validate and convert planned orders into process orders.
Ability to analyze each piece of equipment and determine sequence of production.
Manage stock levels of MTS (Make to Stock) items.
Generate, prepare, and cut batch tickets for distribution to manufacturing.
Create and validate procurement requisitions and confirm.
Act as back-up to other Finite Schedulers for his/her product line.
Participate and engage in bi-yearly physical inventory.
Order solvents and container WOO1.
Create purchase requisition and receive outstanding PO's.
ManagesTimekeeping(Novatime)/Payroll
Correct corking entries and adjust inventory including cycle counts.
Set-up and alter formulas, material creations, and extensions.
Set-up BOM recipe and batch calculators.
Verify shipping and receiving paperwork, SAP transaction, and create delivery tickets for outbound shipments.

Organization Relationships:
Maintain interactions on the FIORI Communication Workflow with NACS.
Interact with customer service and sales representative to proactively provide information and planning assistance to fulfill customer requests on orders and any issues.
Regular interface with Site Manager.
Interaction with Transplace around customer delivery issues or site capacity issues.
Interact continuously with all aspects of plant/site operations including production, logistics, customer service, laboratories etc.
Interact with preferred ship sites, customers, and vendors.
Interact with Customer Service and Sales representatives as needed to proactively provide information and planning assistance to fulfill customer requests.
The interface with the logistics team is to proactively provide information and planning assistance to optimize delivery and cost-to-serve.
Interact continuously with all aspects of plant/site operations including production, logistics, maintenance, customer service, etc.,

Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED
3-5 years of experience in operations with a strong emphasis on production/inventory planning.
Excellent communication skills - must have the ability to communicate with all levels of the company.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data to make sound decisions.
Strong attention to detail and track record of achieving results with accuracy and precision.
A proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and inventory/supply chain planning and execution.
High level of SAP exposure and training.
Experience in distribution, freight, and logistics.
