What You Will Do:

Monitors terminal and station buildings to maintain security. Reports and/or corrects deficiencies.

Makes deliveries to or receives from connecting carriers: Acquires and records the needed documentation for completing tickets.

Acts as company representative and witnesses metering proving and measurement checks on connecting carrier facilities.

Gauges tanks at least once per quarter or on request to calibrate and check computer gauging system. Checks tank roof condition and Hi-Hi Level Alarms.

Maintains tanks, tank pads, and site drainage.

Performs DOT required monthly tank inspections.

Acquire crude oil samples and report lab analysis as required.

Completes hazard assessments and issues safe work permits as required.

Maintains terminal and remote station grounds: plant and mow grass, clears snow, grade roads, ditches culverts and flumes.

Checks and maintains fire and safety equipment including foam trailer, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, respiratory protection equipment and gas detectors.

Maintain Operator Qualification requirements.

Who You Are:

High School Diploma with 2 years of oil/gas experience.

Committed to and able to display integrity, safety, and respect in the workplace.

Safety conscious and committed to working in a safe environment.

Must have a valid driver's license & excellent driving record.

Experience operating heavy equipment such as fork trucks and front-end loaders.

Must have basic math skills.

Able to follow specific laboratory procedures without deviation.

Proficient in computer skills including Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and aptitude for several other specialized programs.

Can physically perform heavy manual work including climbing 60-foot storage tanks and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, physical, and background check.

Experience working outdoors or in an industrial setting preferred.

Proven mechanical proficiency preferred.

Working Conditions:
Primarily field oriented, with specific office duties for training, meetings, documentation of tasks as required by the US Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply. Must be willing to work 24/7 12 hour rotating shifts and be on-call as required to support the operation of the pipeline system. Must be willing to respond to emergencies that may require working shifts longer than 12 hours for several consecutive days.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: * Balancing, bending, and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 50 pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (up to 75 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
