JOB SUMMARY
The Loading Supervisor is primarily responsible for the scheduling, coordination, building, staging, and loading of product on a daily/nightly basis. In addition, the Loading Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the facility and all warehouse personnel during his/her assigned shift. The Loading Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring all fleet vehicles are driven and parked in accordance with company procedures. The Loading Supervisor will also ensure Material Handler (Loading Team) personnel maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace. The Loading Supervisor will provide leadership, including goal-setting, performance measurement and feedback to all assigned Material Handler (Loading Team) personnel. The Loading Supervisor will be expected to utilize provided qualitative and quantitative data to make informed business decisions that will help WP Beverages sustain and improve overall business operations. Every member of the WP Team is a sales person for our brands and the company.Therefore, the Loading Supervisor must be focused on providing WP Beverages with profitable growth through the sale and efficient distribution of our refreshing beverages, superior customer service and innovative customer focused marketing programs.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
2.Minimum of two years of experience in: Warehousing, Distribution, and/or Merchandising within a high volume distribution environment.
3.Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
4.High attention to detail with the ability to present written information in a clear, concise, and legible format.
5.Strong organizational and decision making skills with the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced distribution environment.
6.The ability to work with and direct a team with a minimum of one year experience managing, coaching, and leading a team.
7.Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
8.Must possess excellent math and personal computing skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
9.Must have the ability to operate powered industrial equipment including a fork-truck in a safe manner and maintain annual fork-truck certification.
10.Ability to continually lift 60 pounds from floor to waist height and occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to shoulder height
11.Prolonged sitting, standing, twisting, and/or bending.
12.Must possess the ability to move and back tractor/trailer combinations of varying sizes.
13.Basic mechanical/automotive knowledge with the ability to operate a manual/automatic transmission.
14.Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
