Job Title: Software Engineer
Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team at JLL. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that leverage Azure, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and Data Pipeline using PySpark. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, data processing, and building scalable and robust software systems.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand software requirements.
Design and develop software solutions using Azure services, Databricks, Azure Kubernetes, Microservices, and PySpark.
Build and maintain data pipelines using PySpark, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
Optimize software performance and ensure scalability and robustness of the developed solutions.
Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to deploy and operationalize machine learning models.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and operational issues.
Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and tools in the software engineering space.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and best practices within the team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Strong experience working with Azure cloud services, Databricks, and Azure Kubernetes.
Proficiency in building and deploying microservices architecture.
Solid understanding and experience with data pipelines using PySpark.
Hands-on experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Spark.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with other programming languages such as Java or Scala.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries.
Familiarity with big data technologies, such as Hadoop and Apache Spark.
