Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst who is fully proficient in applying established standards and researching and resolving a wide range of complex problems with diverse scope in innovative ways. The ideal candidate should be able to tackle problems where precedent may not exist and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Responsibilities

+ Gathers data and prepares documents required by TRATON

+ Uses a formal process for appropriate data gathering, consolidation and analysis of financial data relative to the preparation of required reporting

+ Ensures data integrity and proper accounting and works with auditors who support the review and audit of regulatory filings

+ Gathers reference material concerning new and existing technical accounting literature to ensure compliance with TRATON policies in accounting and financial reporting

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree

+ At least 2 years of accounting/financial reporting experience

OR

+ Master’s degree

+ At least 1 year of accounting/financial reporting experience

OR

+ At least 5 years of accounting/financial reporting experience

Additional Requirements

+ Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)

Desired Skills

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage effective relationships with business units, external auditors, and management

+ Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

+ Understanding of IFRS preferred

+ Ethical, proactively addresses issues and implements best practices
