Job Description

Purpose

The Senior Financial Analyst will support both the financial planning and actuals analysis/reporting requirements for the multiple business units within Operations Finance. The Senior Analyst will be a critical contributor to the team, interacting will all levels of the business units supported.

Responsibilities

+ Perform month-end close activities including preparing Journal entries, P&L review and analysis as well as prepare monthly reporting packages.

+ Support the various planning cycles (Plan, update, LBE’s and LRP) for the business units. Work with the business partners to understand dynamics in each area. Complete required Operations FP&A submissions within deadlines.

+ Support headcount reporting for the business units. Track actual headcount and Open positions, as well as levels of contractor support.

+ Support Capital planning and reporting. Work with partners to build annual plans and LRP’s. Track spending against RCE’s and create LBE’s. Work with Project accounting to ensure RCE’s are accurately reported.

+ Collaborate with business partners and operations FP&A to complete any ad-hoc analysis requested and support any project teams

+ Provide guidance to business partners and communicate financial implications to business decisions.

+ Identify and implement solutions to optimize financial processes to improve speed, agility, and insights.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.

+ Preferred 4+ years of progressive and related experience in Finance and/or Accounting.

+ Execute priorities established by Manager with speed and agility.

+ Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.

+ Proficient Excel skills required.

+ Knowledge of SAP and BPC and PowerBI a plus.
