Roles and Responsibilities
+ Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure
+ Collaborate with development teams to prioritize, understand, plan, manage and deliver new system workflows; translate user clinical and workflow needs to software epics, features, use cases, stories, and requirements
+ Design, develop, and test prototypes/proof of concepts for both front end and back end applications or services.
+ Contribute to the development of software and data delivery platforms by creating reusable components that can be incorporated into production code.
+ Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products
+ Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
+ Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
+ Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
+ Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen
Education Qualification
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience 4years
+ A minimum of 3 years of core Java programming experience
+ A minimum of 3 years of software development cycle or automated testing experience (SDLC)
+ A minimum of 2 years multi-threaded programming, object-oriented design, service-oriented/microservices based architecture, design patterns, Linux development
+ Experience in writing scripts using Groovy or Python or Powershell
+ Experience with Javascript frameworks such as: Angular, NodeJS
+ Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as: Gitlab, Git, perforce
Desired Characteristics
+ Master’s Degree/ PHD in Computer Science
+ Experience in containerization (docker), Kubernetes, and virtualization technology
+ Experience in Healthcare, Aviation or equivalent regulated industry
+ Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
+ Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
+ Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Effective team building and problem solving abilities
+ Persists to completion, especially in the face of overwhelming odds and setbacks. Pushes self for results; pushes others for results through team spirit
