Insight Global’s client is looking for 2 Mechanical Engineers to join their team. In this role you will be part of the “Maintenance of Line (MOL)” team, meaning that you will be improving the industrial printing products, including coding and marking printers. You will be working to implement solutions to address various customer needs, including quality and reliability improvements, feature adds, production fixture support, and component obsolescence.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
5-7 years of engineering experience in product development or product maintenance of line (sustainment)
Experience with small to medium sized electromechanical industrial equipment (gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, cooling fans, and solenoid valves)
Mechanical machine design using plastics and metals
Creation and control of engineering drawings – tolerancing and stack up analysis
Design and evaluation of plastic and metal material chemical compatibility Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience of injection molded plastic parts and sheet metal fabrication
Working with solvents such as Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK), Acetone, and Alcohol null
