Robert Half is seeking a Litigation Paralegal based in Chicago, Illinois. The role primarily involves managing calendar schedules, preparing for trials, dealing with medical records, and handling matters related to medical malpractice, pleadings, motions, litigation, and personal injury law. This role is a key part of our legal team and plays an integral part in the legal processes of our organization.

Responsibilities:

- Organize and manage calendar schedules to ensure all deadlines are met efficiently.

- Prepare and organize materials and files for trials, ensuring all necessary documents are readily available.

- Review and manage medical records, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

- Handle cases related to medical malpractice, ensuring all legal procedures and protocols are followed.

- Assist in the preparation and filing of pleadings and motions, ensuring they are accurate and timely.

- Engage in various litigation tasks, including research, document drafting, and case management.

- Handle cases related to personal injury law, ensuring all legal procedures and protocols are followed.

- Assist in the preparation for trials, including gathering evidence, coordinating witnesses, and managing legal documents.

Requirements – Proven experience in the role of a Paralegal or similar legal field

- Proficiency in Calendar Management and Trial Preparation

- Familiarity with Litigation and Motions

- Experience in Personal Injury Law and Medical Malpractice

- Ability to prepare and process legal documents such as Pleadings

- Proficiency in handling Medical Records

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools

- Law degree or certification in paralegal studies would be an asset.
