The Critical Care Transport Trainer (CCTT) will serve as Abiomed’s training expert in the Critical-Care transport space. The CCTT will focus on the implementation, delivery, and monitoring of transport trainings to critical-care transportation customers throughout the US. The goal of the CCTT is to educate on safe and effective application of Abiomed’s products during patient transport.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities: vibration, thermal, reliability magnetic and systems analyses to

+ Improve patient outcomes and drive patient growth through transport training opportunities.

+ Streamline and standardize training for transportation companies/hospital-based transport programs, to include new personnel in the space and refresher training for those already trained.

+ Provide training on Impella platform, as it relates to transporting a patient on support, both in person and virtual.

+ Host calls for transport personnel on updates and new information as needed.

+ Participate in Medical Transport Tradeshows as needed.

Qualifications

+ A minimum of 2 years’ experience of emergency medical flight support is required

+ CFRN, CTRN or FP-C preferred

+ Experience instructing and facilitating clinical education is required

+ Experience with the Impella Heart Pump, temporary and durable Mechanical Circulatory Support and ECMO Therapy is required

+ CVICU or Cath Lab background preferred

+ Medical device/Industry experience preferred

+ Must possess a passion for training and education and be recognized as a clinical expert within the Critical-Care transport space

+ Must have strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills

+ Must be self-reliant; takes initiative; results-oriented, open minded and approachable.

+ Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written) is a must

+ Ability to travel 2-3 days per week

The hourly pay range for this position is $60/hr.
