Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for its operations at our very prestigious client on the South side of Chicago, IL . The Chef Manager will oversee the daily kitchen operations and food production. Ability to motivate staff to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Will report to the General Manager and manage a kitchen staff of approximately 10-15 hourly employees. The candidate needs to be able to work a flexible schedule.

The successful candidate will:

+ have oversight of day-to-day operations;

+ ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented and be part of implementing new innovative dining service options;

+ have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;

+ ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance; and

+ have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems

+ ensure Sodexo standards are met.
