Job Title: CDL Driver
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to operate 53-foot trailers, transferring materials to and from regional locations to ensure production efficiency. Responsibilities include complying with all Federal, State, and local regulations for the safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle, utilizing ELD systems for daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and regularly driving routes between Joliet, IL, various other Illinois locations, as well as Wisconsin, Iowa, and Ohio. This position involves driving to various tire warehouses to manage load pickups and drop-offs. Enjoy the stability of having your own well-maintained, automatic truck with a sleeper, and benefit from routes that are primarily dock to dock with some drop and hook tasks. Our company covers the cost to maintain your CDL and medical certification. This direct hire position offers a competitive mileage rate of 54 cents, translating to an annual salary of $78,000 to $95,000, with benefits offered after 60 days.

Work Environment
As a driver, you will be responsible for making deliveries to various destinations. The environment at the facility involves interaction with the rubber manufacturing process, which is not climate-controlled; it can get warm in the summer and cool in the winter. Although it’s not considered a dirty environment, involvement in the manufacturing process may result in getting slightly dirty. The facility is organized and fosters a strong company culture.
