Based at our LEED platinum-certified manufacturing facility in Chicago, known as South Side Soap Box, the Production Supervisor will report to the Associate Manager, Production This role is responsible for ensuring a safe and productive environment. The Production Supervisor will manage up to 60 production team members to coach, mentor and troubleshoot any production issues that arise in our fast-paced and fun environment. Our ideal candidate is passionate about helping team members be successful with an entrepreneurial spirit.
This position is onsite 5 days a week at the manufacturing facility.
This role is not offering relocation assistance.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
Ensure that all safety, quality, GMP, and 5S standards are maintained and established procedures are adhered to by all employees within the department at all times.
Manage the production area personnel, including shift leads, line leads and movers + makers. This role will provide direct feedback to these roles via daily discussions, 1-on-1's and 6-month review process.
Collaborate with other departments to solve problems and improve processes and procedures that improve OEE and reduce costs.

Provide updates to the team by speaking and presenting in huddles, meetings and tours.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
Ability to work 2nd shift hours (1:00 PM - 10:30 PM CT M-F)
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience working with SAP in a manufacturing setting.
Experience in a training or employee development role.
Experience in a safety or quality role.
