Role Description
As the Senior Product Manager for DCS Learning Technology, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, global team that builds shared infrastructure and services to meet the needs of our Product Education strategy. Your primary business stakeholders will be the Customer Success Group (CSG), a team dedicated to global enablement of our customers by bridging the skills gap in the market and empowering customers through learning programs. Your role will involve working on the new Unified Credentialing Systems to further CSG's business objectives and ensure their success.

In your role as the Senior Product Manager, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end product certification process. From the onset, you will be expected to actively participate in requirement gathering and documentation. You will be involved in multiple project work streams, delivering high-quality work and partnering with global cross-functional business stakeholders to ensure business objectives and functional requirements are met.

You will facilitate workshops to capture detailed requirements and business processes. Your deliverables include story mapping, user story and acceptance criteria writing, building feature roadmap. You will collaborate closely with other work streams, including internal partner groups, vendors, and professional consultants, to ensure the system is designed and built according to business requirements and specifications.

As part of the implementation process, you will be responsible for working with engineering to hand-off requirements, demo build to stakeholders, qualify QA issues against requirements, plan UAT, draft test scenarios, and facilitate UAT. You will also contribute to the Change Management / User Adoption strategy, planning, and execution. Additionally, you will assist in developing a post-implementation and continuous improvement strategy to ensure a smooth transition of new builds to production support team.

Your Impact
Unified certification project is complex and fast paced. The scope of this position will evolve. Your typical responsibilities will include:

Rapidly establish an understanding of both the current state and future needs of certification at Salesforce.

Gain a solid understanding of business use cases and requirements for the new Unified certification solution.

Collaborate with key business stakeholders to capture and validate business objectives and requirement details

Manage communications and coordinate discussions between internal and vendor Product Managers and business stakeholders

Work closely with other Product Managers to interpret and clarify business requirements and feedback for the technical team

Actively participate in solution design, representing the end-user perspective in discussions with leaders, Solution Architects, and Engineers

Ensure product functionality meets business and customer requirements.

Coordinate testing (with business stakeholders), including drafting test scenarios, facilitating demos, UAT, and sign-off

Provide training to key business stakeholders

Serve as the first level of support for business users during Hypercare

Assist in the development of post-implementation support strategy & transition plan for the support team

Build a roadmap for features you own; work with stakeholders and end users to validate, prioritize, and implement new features.
