Responsibilities
Provide senior-level administrative support to Leadership to ensure all administrative duties are handled professionally, timely and efficiently to assure smooth operation of the department and assist in meeting goals. Position requires an understanding of the leader's responsibilities and method of operation, as well as an understanding of the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School's policies and procedures. Oversee broad range of administrative activities.
Enhances leader's effectiveness by providing information management support; representing the executive to others
Assist in special projects as directed by Leader
Work closely with leadership team, executive assistants and SLC assistants to establish standardized procedures and complete tasks
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent (3 years of related work experience)
4+ years directly related experience in administrative assistance
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft applications (including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings, creating appointment requests, and setting up virtual meetings (using software or technology such as WebEx)
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree
Experience working in fast-paced environment
Customer service focused with ability to work with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff
Extensive administrative/office experience in a higher education
