Your role at Baxter

The Export Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating the development of all shipments, including raw materials for manufacturing support, intermediates (WIP) and finished goods, with domestic and international transportation suppliers. In addition, responsible for the management and execution of all shipping documentation with an emphasis on adherence to U.S. export law to satisfy customer requirements of Baxter's international subsidiaries. Function also includes support activities such as data analysis, report generation, system maintenance and special projects.
What you'll be doing
Handle logistics pipeline between supplier and customer through manipulating and analyzing raw data from numerous sources.
Control logistics process and develop strategies to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
Examine efficiency of strategies by weighing the trade off between speed of delivery and cost of transportation
Educate and collaborate with customers to increase service, meet expectations, and encourage developing markets through open communications and by developing positive relationships
Initiate, lead and participate in cross-functional, cross-business initiatives
Understand and carry out the compliance of departments such as: US department of Commerce, FDA, DOT as it pertains to the transportation of goods domestically and internationally
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist in the development of policies and procedures
Summarize and analyze data for use in reports to business units and special projects
Continuously audits internal systems to ensure compliance
Assemble information, analyze, verify, and make recommendations on corrective actions, as necessary
What you'll bring
BS in Operations/Logistics or similar degree preferred
1 - 3 years related experience
Ability to operate in a sophisticated, international matrixed environment
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
Project management experience and strong organizational skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong PC computer skills (Word, Excel)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 - $82,500 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
