Spirit Operations Apprentice (2 year Fixed Term Contract)
Your manager: Process Improvement Leader
Team: Malt Distilleries
Location: Speyside

What is a Spirit Operations Apprentice?
As part of this 2-year apprenticeship, you will get the chance to learn the whisky making process at our Speyside distilleries and warehousing operations.

As a Spirit Operations Apprentice you will:
Assist in the production of Scotch Whisky.
Control production processes to ensure product quality and efficacy.
Control equipment and processes to ensure staff are safe as they work.
Analyse raw materials within our Production Technical Centre.
Ensure the correct storage and movement of our maturing inventory.

At the end of the programme, you will receive:
A level 3 (SCQF Level 6) Qualification.
An IOSH Managing Safely Certificate.

Your blend of talent

This position could be right for you if you:
Have a positive attitude with an eagerness to learn.
Are able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
Have good communication skills.
Hold a current driving licence.
Due to the fact that this role will be working directly with alcohol, we must request that all applicants are a minimum 18 years old.
