Position Highlights:
Position:Registered Nurse - Employee Health Services
Location:Homebase is Evanston Hospital
Full Time/Part Time:Full-time (Exempt) 40 hours per week
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:30AM/8:00AM - 4:30PM/5:00PM
On-Call: Rotating 1 week On-Call schedule, for our BBFE needlestick hotline; rotating with 7-8 other nurses.
Required Travel:Travel between Swedish Hospital, Evanston, Glenbrook, Skokie and Highland Park for coverage purposes; will be given notice ahead of time.

What you will need:
License:Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Education:Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSNpreferred
Certification:BLS/CPR certificationrequired (American Heart Association BLS for the Healthcare Provider)
Experience:1 year of nursing experience in a physician practice or hospital setting preferred

What you will do:
The RN, Employee Health Services works collaboratively to maximize employee productivity and advance the overall health and safety of the workforce
Coordinating and performing pre-placement history and screenings, conducting return to work clearances, fit for duty evaluations, and annual screenings and assessments.
Ability to multi-task and reflects clinical experience incorporating initiative, flexibility, team effort
Participate in our BBFE Hotline On-Call Schedule. Each EHS nurse participates in rotating 1 week on-call schedule. This on-call is taken during business hours (while onsite) and after hours/weekends (remote/no need to come on site). It is stipend paid in addition to salary each time you take on-call rotation.
Effectively interact with the NorthShore University Health System workforce, Human Resources, medical staff, and management, while maintaining ANA standards of professional nursing
