Position Summary
The University of Illinois Chicago Department of Surgery seeks two full-time vascular surgeons to provide the full breadth of vascular surgery services in Mt. Sinai Hospital. Mt Sinai Hospital is a Level 1 Trauma Center with a free standing ACGME accredited general surgery residency program. Program goals are to grow the existing elective practice, provide high quality services for the hospital and participate in the training and education of general surgery residents and medical students. These positions will include faculty appointments at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the department with teaching medical students, residents, and fellows in Vascular Surgery.
Provide clinical patient care.
Participate in clinical research.
Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a strong background in clinical vascular surgery, have completed an ACGME accredited vascular surgery fellowship program and be board certified or board-eligible in vascular surgery. Vascular surgeons in this position may participate in academic and research programs at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, located 1.3 miles from Mt. Sinai Hospital.
