We are seeking a Solution Engineering Leader within our Service Cloud SE team, covering MAE/CBS industries. This person will take charge of building, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing team. This involves fostering our destination team culture and environment, where individuals thrive and collectively contribute to the team's success. Externally, the Solution Engineering Leader will strive to build strong technical relationships with IT and Business executives among our customer base. This involves understanding customer requirements and aligning our solutions to meet their business objectives. You work closely with Regional Sales VPs to understand their account mix and Service Cloud Sales Opportunities in order to provide the best Solution Engineering alignment and support. Additionally, this person will act as an evangelist for the SE Teams, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as Multi-Cloud Solutions Leaders, Sales AVPs, and others to create meaningful collaboration strategies that facilitate a team-selling environment. Overall, the role combines strategic alignment, leadership, and team development to drive success.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong analytical capabilities, be organized, and able to work on many tasks at the same time. Candidates will be able to make meaningful data-driven business decisions and present findings appropriately to various leaders.

Proficient with CRM technologies (or other Enterprise business applications) and be able to present to a business or technical audience.

Ability to support the Solution Engineering team by providing guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as represent their team's needs to Salesforce.com's executive staff.

Skills to partner equally with internal resources such as Product Marketing, Product Management, Development, and Sales Management to gain commitment and support.

A genuine interest in developing/mentoring the careers of team members by providing constructive feedback and taking teaching opportunities.

The Solution Engineering Leader should have a working understanding of MAE and/or CBS to provide the best support and point of view on Service Cloud Opportunities.

Preferred Requirements:

BA/BS (or equivalent) in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, etc.)

Team leadership or management of a high performing solutions team with varied cross business demands

Broad Salesforce technology skills are highly desired

Ability to leverage complex data insights to drive resourcing, skills strategy and measure success of initiatives

Implementing and overseeing performance management processes for solution engineering teams, including setting performance goals and conducting regular performance evaluations

Experience managing resources with senior partners

People and organizational leadership

Coaching and mentoring Solution Engineers at all levels

Transformation projects and/or support of new initiatives

Internal and external stakeholder management

Strong understanding of sales and pre-sales ecosystem

Ability to evaluate and develop a team to support growth

Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

Prior experience as a Solution Engineer in an Individual Contributor capacity

Prior experience in the MAE and/or CBS for additional consideration
